These Lipsticks have been a most raved about product since their release and I can see why.
* Encased in a gold outer case with the lipstick colour showing through the middle, which make it easy to see what colour you are reaching for (something I wish Mac lipsticks did).
* Creamy, almost buttery formula goes on smooth and hydrates your lips
* Rich pigmentation means only one swipe of colour is enough to coat your entire mouth
* Excellent staying power and a beautiful colour selection
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks ($55) are available from Myer
It’s every girls dilemma, you have accumulated so much makeup over the years that you are struggling to store it in a practical and clever way. Products go off because you pack them away and forget about them. By being a little bit creative, you can store all your makeup in a way that makes it not only accessible, but actually looks good!
Order your brushes, divide them into categories, FACE, EYES, LIPS. This makes it easier when searching for a brush. Keep an empty brush holder on the side to hold the dirty brushes, and once its full, do a wash.
Jars: Make a great brush holder. Soak in hot water and peel off the labels. Fill with sand (or coffee beans) and stand the brushes upright.
Pencil Holders: Another great brush holder. Pick some up from your local Officeworks, Big W, Kmart, Target, Hot Dollar. They are cheap and are the perfect size for your brushes.
Candles: Once the candle has burned down, clean out the glass jar and use to hold your brushes.
Vases: Choose ones tall enough and these are great brush holders.
Tins: Opened up a tin of tomatoes? Don’t throw it out, wash it out, peel off the label and use these to hold your brushes.
Mugs: Got a few mismatched mugs in the cupboard, these make really cute brush holders.
Palettes can be tricky to store, as we can’t always see inside them to know which one is what.
Dividers: Not only cheap, these make it easy to see each palette you own
Dish rack: Not just for dishes, these are a good way to store your palettes
Acrylic nail boxes are good and are made especially for nail polish.
Jars and vases are also a good way to stack them, and you can also see them all which is a good way to get the most wear out of all your colours.
Wall Holder: these are fastened to the wall and this is what most nail salons use to display their colours. You can buy them and have them in your home, and the bonus is that this is also great for storing foundations and perfume.
Cupcake tier: these are really cute, as they display your nail polish like a pretty tray of cupcakes. This can also be used to display perfume and makeup.
Acrylic make up draws: Most of you may have already seen these, made famous by Kim Kardashian, these really are fantastic at storing makeup. The slide out draws hold just about everything and are readily available worldwide.
Cutlery Trays: These trays are good as draw inserts to store lip liners, mascara’s, eye pencils etc
Wine racks: Sounds weird I know, but these can be very versatile. Use drinking glasses in place of wine bottles and fill the cups with eye liners, lip liners, mascara’s, lip glosses, lipsticks etc
Plates, saucers: Pick up a few cheap vintage ones from your local Vinnies or Salvos and fill them with makeup or even jewellery.
Remember: There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to storing your makeup collection. Be creative and the options are limitless.

I have read tons of rave reviews about this mascara, but Australia being so behind means that the Avon Mega Effects Mascara has not yet come to our shores. Hurry up Avon, I am waiting with baited breath!
This Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Plum Pink is stunning, beautifully packaged and just look at those shades. With plums being the trend this Fall, even though its the beginning of Spring down under, I cant resist wanting this winter palette.
Bobbi Brown & Katie Holmes have teamed up to create the Bobbi & Katie Palette. This palette has all the right colours needed to pull off a lazy weekend no makeup look, all the way to other end of the spectrum and do a dazzling smokey eye. Designed with the working girl in mind, this palette covers eyes, lips and cheeks. It even comes with an eye pencil. I cant wait to use this!

You will receive 4.2grams of product for $8.47 (on sale now!!!) from Priceline, an Australian drugstore.
I walked past the Maybelline lipstick section in Priceline and the bright red SALE sign was calling my name, how could I not say hello – that would be rude!
Shocking Coral is an unsung hero in my books. It’s not red and it’s not pink and it’s not even a true coral. It is somewhere in between a red, hot pink and coral. You still with me?

The texture is so creamy and glides on and it does not dry out my lips, which I find a lot of drugstore lipsticks do. It does not creep into the lines on my lips either which is a big bonus. I recommend using a nude or red lip liner with this to stop the color from bleeding.
I suggest keeping everything else on your face quiet simple if wearing a vibrant bright lip. I got about 5-6 hours worth of wear with this lipstick before needing to reapply (I also ate and drank during those 5-6 hours so it is very long lasting)
A very flattering shade for all skin tones I rate Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick a must have in my beauty box!
